THEN
Our darling little princess turned 7 months yesterday! Unfortunately, she has been really sick since last Friday. We took her to the doctors on Saturday and they said she had bronchiolitus. She has been running a fever since Friday and crouping and wheezing like crazy. We've been nebulizing her and trying to make her comfortable. We ended up taking her back in today, she is draining green snot like crazy, still running a fever and won't eat or drink anything. The diagnosis was, double ear infections, so they sent us off with a prescription. I am really hoping she starts to feel better. I could really use some sleep :o)
Our lives have been enriched so much by having her sweet spirit in our home. She is such a wonderful baby. Every day I am more and more amazed by her. She rarely cries, she is almost always smiling and she loves to snuggle. She literally melts our hearts! Dan told me the other day that it broke his heart to see her sick. I agreed with him, but then added I felt that way whenever any of our little darlings were sick. His response went something like this; "I know, but when they boys are sick I want to say suck it up your a boy, but when Emily is sick I want to hold her and give her whatever she needs". I then realized that this little wonder had already wrapped her dad around her little finger. It amazes me how fast that happened. I thought she would have to bat her eyes at him first.
